Hunter's Fishing Report
WINTER BITE IS ON!!!
February brought a nasty cold front through Southwest Florida that dropped water temps into the 51-58 degree range depending on where you're at. There haven't been many reports of dead fish around the island, but some areas up in North Florida and Parts of the east coast of Florida took a hit. Most of the fish have pushed into their warm holes and deeper water, and the bite has stayed solid. Sheepshead are loving the cold, and the bite has been on fire, with snook and redfish still mixed in.
Offshore has been producing a lot of nice red grouper when the weather allows.
